1. Parties
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are between:
(1) Daniel S. Alchemy / trading as Ikigai Life Coach | Life Alchemist (“Coach”, “I”, “me”) and
(2) the person, company or organisation booking coaching services through this website (“Client”, “you”).2. Services
I provide coaching, mentoring and workshop services (including one-to-one coaching, group workshops, speaking/keynotes and digital products) — collectively “Services”. By booking a session, workshop or purchasing a product you agree to these Terms.3. Coaching scope & disclaimer
Coaching is a collaborative, professional relationship focused on personal growth, clarity and practical steps. Coaching is not a substitute for medical, legal, mental health or other professional advice or therapy. If you have mental health concerns, suicidal thoughts or medical issues, you must consult a qualified professional immediately. By booking you confirm you understand this distinction.4. Booking, confirmation & payment
a) Bookings are confirmed only after payment (or deposit) is received, or after the special booking process described on the relevant page.
b) Payment methods: Stripe, PayPal, bank transfer, etc. You must provide accurate billing details.
c) Fees, deposits and any recurring payments are shown on the booking page. All amounts are in EUR. Sales tax / VAT may apply where required by law.5. Cancellation & rescheduling
a) One-to-one sessions: Cancel or reschedule at least 1 day before the session to avoid a cancellation fee. If cancelled less than 1 day before, the full fee (or a percentage) may be charged.
b) Workshops & group events: refund and reschedule terms are described on each event page — typically a partial refund until a cut-off date and no refund within 3 days.
c) Refunds are issued to the original payment method and processed within 7 business days.6. No-shows & late arrivals
If you do not attend a booked session without prior notice, or arrive late, this is treated as a cancellation and the session may be charged in full.7. Confidentiality
I treat your information and session content as confidential, and will not disclose it except:with your prior written consent;if required by law or a court order;if there is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others (safety exception).
Confidentiality does not include anonymised, aggregated statistics used for business purposes.8. Use of testimonials & case studies
With your permission, I may use anonymised testimonials or short quotes for marketing. I will not publish private details without explicit consent. You may withdraw consent at any time; I will remove new uses as soon as reasonably practical.9. Intellectual property
All materials, text, worksheets, audio, video, images and programs provided in connection with Services are the intellectual property of the Coach (unless otherwise stated). You may use them for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may NOT copy, resell or redistribute them without written permission.10. Limits of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:The Coach’s liability for any claim arising from or in connection with the Services or this agreement is limited to the total fees paid by you in the 12 months prior to the claim.The Coach is not liable for indirect, special or consequential losses (including loss of profit, income or business).Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or other legal exclusions that cannot be excluded.11. Privacy & personal data
I collect and process personal data necessary to deliver Services (contact info, payment info, notes from sessions). I will treat your personal data in accordance with my Privacy Policy [link to privacy policy]. If you are in the EU / UK / other, you have rights including access, correction, deletion or restriction of your data (see the Privacy Policy for details). You confirm you are responsible for your physical and mental health while taking part in coaching. If you have concerns about mental health, medication or other medical conditions, you should seek professional advice before participating.13. Cancellation of services by the Coach
If I must cancel a session, I will offer a refund or an alternative session time. I am not liable for indirect costs you may incur (travel, lost earnings), except where required by law.14. Third-party links & technology
I may use third-party software (booking platforms, payment processors, video platforms). Use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. I am not responsible for third-party service interruptions.15. Testimonials & reviews
I may collect and use client reviews for promotional purposes. I will seek your permission for identifiable usage.16. Governing law & dispute resolution
